The 2014 Hyundai iLoad is a value-for-money van. A strong diesel engine, plenty of space to load stuff in and it drives like a car.
The 2014 iLoad is more fuel efficient, and powered by a 2.5-litre turbo diesel produces 125 kW/441 Nm. Hyundai claims the turbo diesel auto can do 8.8 L/100 km. This iLoad uses a five-speed auto transmission and comes with sliding doors on each side and a wing door at the rear.
The iLoad van can take up to 4.3 cubic metres of cargo weighing up to 1113 kg. The wing tailgate opens up and at the interior at its narrowest, the floor is 1260mm wide between the wheel arches, or 1620mm at its widest. The flat vinyl-covered floor is 2375mm long and 1350mm high.
There are plenty of standard features including 2 speaker sound system with CD player, WMA/MP3 compatibility and aux jack, blue tooth and ipod connectivity, air conditioning, steering wheel audio controls, remote central locking, power mirrors and front windows, a tilt adjustable steering wheel, a height adjustable driver’s seat and an immobiliser.
The iLoad comes with dual front airbags, ABS anti-lock braking and electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control and traction control. ANCAP gave the iLoad a four star rating.
