This means that they are slightly smaller than the widebody E170/E180 Corolla sedans & hatches.They are available in 2 different specification levels, X and G.At this time, only the 1.5L hybrid versions are allowed to be imported into the country.This particular Corolla is powered by 1NZ-FXE 1.5 Litre 4 cylinder DOHC petrol engine with VVT and electric motor which is mated to a 1 speed CVT transmission which Toyota calls the ‘Hybrid Synergy Drive.’This is the exact same system that was used on the Australian delivered 2011-present Prius C Hybrid hatchback and the imported NKE165G Corolla Fielder Hybrid wagon..The vehicle can switch between petrol and electric power whenever needed (also depending on the particular requirement at the time). The vehicle can also drive in pure electric vehicle mode (EV mode) for a fews at a time.
