The 2013 FZ Swift has one body style, a five-door hatch.
Though similar in looks, the 2013 model is actually longer by 90 mm and higher by 10 mm, and rolled on a wheelbase that was 50 mm longer, all of which yielded more cabin space.
In the 2013 model the cabin is roomier though there still wasn't a lot of room for back seat passengers, and the boot is relatively small.
The 1.4-litre engine is smaller than its predecessor and has only marginally less power and torque and uses less fuel. The transmission is the five-speed manual.
Safety
On the road the Swift handles well and obediently followed directions from the driver. With seven airbags, ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and electronic stability control standard ANCAP gave the Swift a five-star tick of approval.
